No, Michel Essonghe needs some rest; it will be Marc Tchango, a brother-in-law to Ali Bongo (half-brother-in-law, but brother-in-law anyway), who will be on the ground in Port Gentil.

Marc Tchango is 34 years old, a close friend of Noureddin Bongo, an advisor to the secretary general of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) in power, son of Gabriel Tchango, the mayor of Port-Gentil, but especially father of the child of Yacine Bongo, the daughter Omar Bongo had with Edith the late daughter of Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso.

Given that Marc Tchango is part of the clan known as the young premiers, who are in the wake of Ali Bongo for the succession that is already being set up concomitantly with the presidential campaign, some see in the desigation of Marc Tchango as boss of the campaign in Port-Gentil, a way to prepare the ground not necessarily for Ali Bongo,  but for Noureddin, his son.

Around Marc Tchango can be found in no particular order, Jessye Ella Ekogha, Ian Ghislain Ngoulou (the unofficial son of Albert Yangari), Mohamed Saliou the son of the guru of the family etc., all associates of Noureddin Bongo, who obey only him and his mother.

For his mission, like René Ndemezo'Obiang, Marc Tchango will receive a substantial envelope for the purchase of minds. In terms of minds in Gabon, there are some who can barely wait to go cash out

Vu que Marc Tchango fasse partie du clan dit des jeunes premiers, qui sont dans le sillage d’Ali Bongo pour la succession qui se met déjà en place concomitamment avec la campagne présidentielle, d’aucuns voient en la desigation de Marc Tchango comme patron de la campagne à Port-Gentil, une façon de préparer le terrain non pas nécessairement pour Ali Bongo, mais pour Noureddin, son fils.

Autour de Marc Tchango on retrouve pèle mêle, Jessye Ella Ekogha, Ian Ghislain Ngoulou (le fils officieux d’Albert Yangari), Mohamed Saliou le fils du gourou de la famille etc., tous des affidés de Noureddin Bongo qui n’obéissent qu’à lui et à sa mère.

Pour sa mission, comme René Ndemezo’Obiang, Marc Tchango recevra une enveloppe conséquente pour l’achat des consciences. En matière de consciences au Gabon, il y’en a qui ne peuvent plus attendre de passer à la caisse.
