René Ndemezo’Obiang revient au gouvernement pour être le second de Bilie-By-Nze dans la campagne d’intronisation d’Ali Bongo. C’est lui qui organisera la communication de campagne et ira corrompre ceux qu’il faudra corrompre sur le terrain. Ndemezo ‘Obiang va recevoir une belle cagnotte pour acheter les consciences dans Woleu-Ntem et offrir à Ali Bongo cette province en trophée. Un total de 100 milliards de francs CFA aurait été budgétisé pour cette campagne à travers le Gabon. Ndemezo’Obiang  et Bilie-By-Nze décideront qui devra passer à la caisse ; ce qui va augmenter considérablement leur « puissance ».
