After Ali Bongo’s fall, the Grand Lodge of Gabon has just appointed its new boss. Jacques Denis Tsanga, the current governor of Haut-Ogooué province, was chosen after Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema refused to become Grand Master. The unofficial explanation for this refusal is that Oligui-Nguema remained faithful to his Christian beliefs.

 

Historically, the Grand Lodge of Gabon (GLG) is the most powerful Masonic obedience in Gabon and has always been, since Omar Bongo and Georges Rawiri who led it, the obligatory passage of the entire Gabonese elite who wanted a high-level political and professional future.

 

The number two in this lodge remains Lin Mombo, the husband of Marie-Madeleine Mborantsuo.

 

Dear readers, you should also know that in recent years, the GLG had freed itself from its French tutelage and now had as its brooding mother, the United Grand Lodge of England.

 

On paper, Maixent Accrombessi retains his position as sovereign of the supreme council; but in fact he would have deserted the Gabonese temple. The previous secretary general of the supreme council, Jean-Denis Amoussou, is currently incarcerated and has been removed from the GLG. Noureddin Bongo, who is also incarcerated, is also facing GLG debarment.

 

Rumours have it that Henri-Claude Oyima and Idriss Ngari want to bring Lin Mombo off his pedestal within the GLG. Professionally, they are the ones who asked Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema to fire Lin Mombo from the position of General Manager of the Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (Arcep). It would be Lin Mombo who had Gabon's access to the internet cut off from August 26, 2023 until the coup d'état. Après la chute d'Ali Bongo, la Grande Loge du Gabon vient de designer son nouveau patron. C’est Jacques Denis Tsanga, l’actuel gouverneur de la province du Haut-Ogooué qui a été choisi, après que Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema ait refuser d’en devenir le Grand Maitre. L’explication officieuse de ce refus est Oligui-Nguema soit resté fidèle à ses croyances chrétiennes.

 

Historiquement, la Grande Loge du Gabon (GLG) est la plus puissante obédience maçonnique du Gabon et a toujours été depuis Omar Bongo et Georges Rawiri qui la dirigeaient, le passage obligé de toute l'élite Gabonaise qui prétendait à un avenir politique et professionnel de haut niveau.

 

Le numéro deux de cette loge reste Lin Mombo, l’époux de Marie-Madeleine Mborantsuo.

 

Chers lecteurs, sachez aussi que ces dernières années, la GLG s’était affranchie de sa tutelle française et avait maintenant pour mère couveuse, la Grande Loge unie d'Angleterre.

Professionnellement, ce sont eux qui auraient demandé à Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema de virer Lin Mombo du poste de directeur général de l'Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques et des postes (Arcep). Ce serait Lin Mombo qui avait fait couper l'accès du Gabon à internet du 26 août 2023 jusqu’au coup d’Etat. Henri-Claude Oyima et Idriss voudraient que

Paul Toungui devienne le patron de la GLG.
