In France, many intellectuals tell you that Jean-Jacques Rousseau was one of the main intellectual instigators of the French Revolution. Indeed, his work "On the Social Contract or Principles of Political Law", published in 1762, set out to establish the notions of sovereignty and legislation, as well as the forms of government and the ways of expressing the general will in a non-monarchical environment.

 

Rousseau's postulate was that man (read here the person, man or woman) is naturally good, but it is society that corrupts him. So, for Rousseau, if we are to preserve man, we must build society with rules that allow man to flourish.

 

This blog would like Gabonese intellectuals to look into the problem of a Gabonese social contract, which would ask citizens to do their job, and governments to do theirs. The current situation in Gabon is that the only form of commitment that prevails between the rulers and the governed is a form of financial dependence that inexorably leads to a very very low kind of Kounabelism. It's unbearable!

 

Gabonese people live in France, some vote there and pay their taxes there; they will never kounabelize in front of Emanuel Macron, because it does not enter into the French political traditions. But when Oligui-Nguema arrives in France, these same people behave as if they were in Gabon in the 80s.

 

It is urgent to repoliticize the Gabonese people differently, to make them understand that kounabelizing is a shameful act that is not worthy of a modern citizen. This mission is very urgent because in Paris, we have seen all the effect of rotten spirits.

En France, nombreux sont les intellectuels qui vous disent que Jean-Jacques Rousseau soit l’un des principaux instigateurs intellectuels de la révolution française. En effet, son ouvrage « Du Contrat Social ou Principes du droit politique», publié en 1762, se proposait d’établir les notions de souveraineté et de législation, ainsi que les formes de gouvernement et les façons d’exprimer la volonté générale dans un environnement non monarchique.

 

Le postulat de Rousseau était que l’homme (lisez ici la personne, homme ou femme) est naturellement bon, mais c'est la société qui le corrompt. Donc pour Rousseau, si on doit préserver l’homme, il faut donc construire la société avec des règles qui permettent l’épanouissement de l’homme.

 

Ce blog aimerait que des intellectuels Gabonais se penchent sur la problématique d’un contrat social Gabonais, qui demanderait aux citoyens de faire leur travail, et aux gouvernants de faire le leur. La situation présente au Gabon voulant que la seule forme d’engagement qui prévale entre gouvernants et gouvernés, soit une forme de dépendance financière qui débouche inexorablement dans un kounabelisme de très très bas étages. C’est insupportable !

 

Des Gabonais vivent en France, certains y votent et y paient leurs imports ; ils ne kounabeliseront jamais devant Emanuel Macron, car cela n’entre pas dans les canons politiques français. Mais quand Oligui-Nguema arrivent en France, ces mêmes personnes se comportent comme s’ils se trouvaient dans le Gabon des années 80.

 

Il est urgent de repolitiser différemment les Gabonais, de leur faire comprendre que kounabeliser est un acte honteux qui n’est pas digne d’un citoyen moderne. Cette mission est très urgente car a Paris, on a vu toute la pouriture des esprits.
