Olam is a company that is now calling the shots in Gabon. More in the bad than good sense for the Gabonese population. Thus Olam has rather a bad reputation with the Gabonese people; and it is for this reason that this company has been trying for some time to polish its image by hiring the services of certain members of the civil society and the press, who allow them to show up before the Gabonese people, in new clothes. .

This blog will always denounce the mafia practices of Olam in Gabon, an agribusiness company that finds itself in port, aviation and mining activities, only in Gabon; and that is about to lead the takeover of SEEG.

Faced with this bulimia, the Gabonese people are asked to close their eyes to the nature of the contract that binds Olam to the Gabonese government. While Olam continues to swallow large swathes of the Gabonese economy, the Gabonese people continue to have sorely shortages in almost everything: no adequate sanitary structures; non-existent, poorly equipped or dilapidated schools; often no drinking water and the government that categorically refuses to guarantee wages allowing Gabonese to have a decent standard of living.

Despite all the media blitz that Olam is doing to restore its image, the well-being of the Gabonese people is of no concern or priority to them; nor to their friends in power in Gabon.

Olam est une société qui fait désormais la pluie et le beau temps au Gabon. Plus la pluie que le beau temps pour la population Gabonaise. Mais Olam a plutôt mauvaise réputation auprès des Gabonais ; et c’est pour cette raison que cette société s’efforce depuis quelques temps de soigner son image en s’attachant les services de certains membres de la société civile et de la presse, qui lui permettent de se représenter aux Gabonais sous des habits nouveaux.

Ce blog dénoncera toujours les pratiques mafieuses d’Olam au Gabon, une société d’agrobusiness qui se retrouve dans les activités portuaires, aériennes et minières, uniquement au Gabon; et qui s’apprête à piloter la SEEG.

Devant cette boulimie, on demande au peuple Gabonais de fermer les yeux sur la nature du contrat qui lie Olam au gouvernement Gabonais. Alors qu’Olam continue d’avaler des pans entiers de l’économie Gabonaise, les gabonais continuent de manquer cruellement de tout: pas des structures sanitaires adéquates ; des écoles inexistantes, mal équipées ou délabrées ; pas souvent d’eau potable et refus catégorique du gouvernement de garantir des salaires permettant aux Gabonais d’avoir un niveau de vie décent.

Malgré tout l’abatage médiatique que fait Olam pour redorer son blason, le bien-être des Gabonais n’est pas un souci ni une priorité pour eux ; ni pour leurs amis au pouvoir au Gabon.
