An Africa Intelligence article tells us how the BGFI Bank dominates, dictates and totally colonizes the attributions of the Gabonese Ministry of Economy and Finance.

 

Indeed, it is the BGFI which heads the "domestic debt" task force set up by Noureddin Bongo-Valentin. In a normal country, it would be the technicians of the Gabonese Ministry of the Economy who would do this kind of work; but in Gabon, it is the BGFI agents who order the Gabonese state which claims of the state should be paid, and which should be classified as fraudulent.

 

It should be remembered that this banking group, led by Henri-Claude Oyima, a member of the Bongo-Odimba family, has been the initiator of an economic interest group called "Club de Libreville" since 2018; which had already carried out a repayment operation of Gabonese domestic debt amounting to CFA Franc 310 billion. You will understand that it is the BGFI that determines what the Ministry of the Economy should do.

 

Noureddin Bongo-Valentin's task force has 21 members, including Pierre Duro, one of Henri-Claude Oyima's advisers. The Gabonese director of taxes Gabin Otha Ndoumba, who has a representative in this task force, is none other than the son of Patrice Otha, the president of BGFIBank.

 

Even more worrying, Africa Intelligence tells us that certain companies to which the Gabonese state owes debts, have been asked to return 0.5% of the amount owed to them to BGFI, officially for operating costs. This, dear readers, is simply racketeering!

 

Dear readers, you would have understood that the strong involvement of the BGFI Bank in the Gabonese senior financial civil service, makes regulators and decision-makers of the public sector, completely in the tank for this bank.

Un article d’Africa Intelligence nous démontre comment la BGFI bank domine, dicte et colonise totalement les attributions du ministère Gabonais de l’économie et des finances.

 

En effet, c’est la BGFI qui dirige la task force "dette intérieur" mise en place par Noureddin Bongo-Valentin. Dans un pays normal, ce seraient les techniciens du ministère gabonais de l’économie qui feraient ce genre de travail ; mais au Gabon, ce sont les agents de la BGFI qui ordonnent a l’Etat Gabonais, quelle créances de l'Etat doit être payée, et quelle autre devrait être classifiée comme frauduleuse.

 

Il faut se souvenir que ce groupe bancaire, dirigé par Henri-Claude Oyima, membre de la famille Bongo-Odimba, est depuis 2018, l’initiateur d'un groupe d'intérêt économique baptisé « Club de Libreville » ; qui avait déjà mené une opération de remboursement de la dette intérieure gabonaise d'un montant de 310 milliards de francs CFA. Vous comprendrez que c’est la BGFI qui détermine ce que doit faire de ministère de l’Economie.

 

La task force de Noureddin Bongo-Valentin compte 21 membres, dont Pierre Duro, l'un des conseillers de Henri-Claude Oyima. Le directeur Gabonais des impôts Gabin Otha Ndoumba, qui dispose d'un représentant au sein de cette task force, n’est autre que le fils de Patrice Otha, le président de BGFIBank.

 

Plus inquiétant encore, Africa Intelligence nous dit certaines entreprises à qui l’Etat gabonais devrait des créances, se sont vues demandées de reverser 0,5 % du montant de leur créance à la BGFI, officiellement pour frais de fonctionnement. Cela chers lecteurs, est tout simplement du racket !
