Sick for several months and hospitalized in France, the former Senegalese international, Pape Bouba Diop, has passed away this Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 42.

 

This former player of RC Lens in France, was noticed with the national selection of Senegal alonside El-Hadji Diouf, Ferdinand Coly, Kalilou Fadiga, etc., during the World Cup 2002. He also scored the only goal against France, then world and European champion.

Malade depuis plusieurs mois et hospitalisé en France, l’ancien international Sénégalais, Pape Bouba Diop, vient de nous quitter ce dimanche 29 novembre 2020 à l’âge de 42 ans.

 

Cet ancien titulaire du RC Lens en France, s’était fait remarquer avec la sélection nationale du Sénégal en compagnie des El-Hadji Diouf, Ferdinand Coly, Kalilou Fadiga, etc., lors du Mondial 2002. Il marqua d’ailleurs l’unique but contre l’équipe de France alors championne du monde et d’Europe en titres.
