According to an article published in the press, the Pozzo di Borgo mansion, which would be owned either by Gabon or by Ali Bongo and Accrombessi, would be under threat of seizure by a group of Lebanese having a dispute with the Gabonese State.

 

 

A group of Lebanese who have long carried out economic activities in Gabon, would have initiated a procedure, notified on December 19, 2023, for the seizure of the property. They are the owners of the garbage collection company "Averda".

 

The dispute stems from the fact that according to these Lebanese, Averda's contract with the Gabonese state was abruptly revoked by the Ministry of Interior in 2019. The Lebanese are said to have requested arbitration from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris; and the three French arbitrators reportedly ruled in their favor on August 23, 2023. The Lebanese are demanding 37 million euros from the Gabonese state, or 24 billion CFA francs. It is this sum that justifies the request for the seizure of the Pozzo di Borgo.

 

Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema is reportedly investigating several investments made by Ali Bongo, Sylvia Bongo and Maixent Accrombessi. The future is likely to reveal even more scandals.

Selon un article paru dans la presse, l'hôtel particulier Pozzo di Borgo, qui serait la propriété soit du Gabon, soit d’Ali Bongo et Accrombessi, serait sous la menace d'une saisie par un groupe de Libanais ayant un contentieux avec l’Etat Gabonais.

 

 

Un groupe de Libanais ayant longtemps exercé des activités économiques au Gabon, aurait entamé une procédure, notifiée le 19 décembre 2023, pour la saisie de l’immeuble. Il s'agit des propriétaire de la société de ramassage d’ordures «Averda ».

 

Le litige tient du fait que selon ces Libanais, le contrat d’Averda avec l’Etat Gabonais a été brutalement révoqué par le ministère de l'Intérieur en 2019. Ces Libanais auraient demandé un arbitrage auprès de la Chambre de commerce internationale (CCI) de Paris ; et les trois arbitres Français auraient statué en leur faveur le 23 août 2023. Les Libanais réclament 37 millions d'euros à l’Etat Gabonais, soit 24 milliards de francs CFA. C’est cette somme qui justifierait la demande de saisie du Pozzo di Borgo.

 

Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema serait en train d’enquêter sur plusieurs investissements effectués par Ali Bongo, Sylvia Bongo et Maixent Accrombessi. L’avenir risque de révéler encore plus de scandales.
