It is on the eve of the delivery of the report of the EU Observer Mission to the Gabonese authorities that Ali Bongo chose to send his militia to kidnap Jean Ping’s lawyer, Mister Iga-Iga, and to sequester him in a secret place. This act is not fortuitous, but contains a message; which one?

For this blog, knowing that this report will be very detrimental to him, Ali Bongo reacted by the only means familiar to him: violence and threats. He is simply telling everyone that if his power continues to be questioned, he would reply by savage repression, mainly affecting those close to Jean Ping.

It is while measuring the danger that Mister Iga-Iga is into, that this blog comes here to ask that we remain firm before this regime and do not yield to its blackmail. We have to keep pushing and not letting go. The report will be released on Monday and we must prepare accordingly.

C’est à la veille de la remise du rapport de la Mission d’Observation de l’UE aux autorités gabonaises, qu’Ali Bongo a choisi d’envoyer ses milices aller kidnapper l’avocat de Jean Ping, Maitre Iga-Iga, pour le séquestrer dans un lieu secret. Cet acte n’est pas anonyme, mais contient bien un message ; lequel ?

Pour ce blog, sachant que ce rapport va lui être très préjudiciable, Ali Bongo réagi par le seul moyen qui lui soit familier : la violence et la menace. Il est simplement en train de dire à tout le monde que si son pouvoir continuait à être inquiété, il répliquerait par la répression sauvage touchant principalement les proches de Jean Ping.

C’est tout en mesurant le danger que court Maitre Iga-Iga, que ce blog vient ici demander que nous restions fermes face à ce régime et ne cédions pas à son chantage. Nous devons continuer à pousser et à ne rien lâcher. Le rapport sera publié ce Lundi et nous devons nous préparer en conséquence.

2016 ne sera pas 2009 !
