English version

The enormous success of the National Dialogue for Change has demonstrated that the Gabonese people are able to operate better away from the Bongo regime and that many Gabonese are de facto independent of the regime and do not submit to the central power any longer.

When one looks at the social and political situation in Gabon, one can only conclude that on a more or less generalized level, there is a phenomenon of fragmentation of the country. Revenues from the sale of oil and various minerals no longer fill the coffers of the State because they are diverted by members of the regime who are still very bulimic.

According to experts, the situation will worsen, because as the regime is unable to honor its commitments, the central government weakens. The country is disintegrating slowly before our eyes. We see every day scenes that were unimaginable a few years ago, in Gabon. We see the Gabonese people queuing in front of the banks for days because the State does not transfer their wages on time. The educational system is practically at a standstill because the State does not respect its commitments made to teachers and students.

The National Dialogue for change has proved that many Gabonese now function semi-autonomously or even totally autonomously. The Gabonese are thirsty for a new State. Ali Bongo already belongs to the past and his remaining in power will only accelerate the disintegration of Gabon because many of us will always refuse to deal with an illegitimate regime and therefore we will move further away from the central power.

We will not give up !
