WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE STILL PRETENDING TO NOT UNDERSTAND? POURQUOI CERTAINS CONTINUENT DE FAIRE SEMBLANT DE NE RIEN COMPRENDRE ?

English version

Dear readers, if it were not for the future of our country, we would stop answering certain compatriots who ask us the same questions continually and who refuse to understand the simplest explanations.

Some readers tell us that they are still confused about Jean Ping's latest statement and how it differs from what Casimir Oye Mba and Guy Nzouba Ndama want. For the last time, we will answer them using a historical example known to everyone.

Mandela is today a global icon. He was one of the few revolutionaries who succeeded in their revolution at all levels, before liberation, during liberation and after liberation; and for that he ended up in the firmament of the greatest leaders in the history of mankind.

In his autobiography, Mandela tells us that in 1985, while he was still incarcerated in Robben Island, P.W. Botha, then President of South Africa under the apartheid regime, fearing the rise of black nationalism and wishing to defuse this threat, proposed to Mandela direct bilateral negotiations, that is to say a dialogue, to institute the necessary reforms to restore stability in the country; but while preserving the apartheid regime in power. Mandela refused this opening, saying: "I prefer to die in prison than to negotiate with this regime, because there is only one thing to negotiate: the end of apartheid and the organization of free, democratic and transparent elections on the principle of one person - one vote ". Botha being unable to agree to grant suffrage to blacks, direct negotiations did not take place.

In 1988, de Klerk won the presidential elections and replaced P.W. Botha. He knew that the idea of white racial superiority was unsustainable and that Mandela was right in the long run. He approached the ANC with an offer of direct negotiations as Mandela wanted and thus the parties entered into negotiations that led to the liberation of Mandela and his accession to the South African Presidency.

So for us, according to our understanding of French which is the language in which Jean Ping expressed himself, when he declared: “I solemnly reiterate that I have decided to stay with the patriotic and resistant people and I persist in my refusal to dialogue with Ali Bongo. It is no! It is niet! However, in view of the necessary national reconciliation, I remain open and I appeal solemnly to the international community for a mediation in order to restore the truth of the results of the August 27, 2016 election that I won as the whole world know. I say a mediation and not a dialogue with Ali Bongo in order to re-establish the truth of the ballot box and ensure the conditions for a peaceful transfer of power. Time is short because the people no longer want to wait"; he said in fact that the only negotiations for which he is open were those regarding the modalities of Ali Bongo's departure and that any other form of discussion, dialogue, negotiation, etc., would be refused!

Dear readers, maybe it's us who are crazy or stupid, but when we compare the position of Ping with the one formerly held by Mandela, we see more clearly. The Oye Mbas and Nzoubas want to enter into dialogue with Ali Bongo on blurred prerequisites; Ping however says: "we have nothing to say to each other, unless it is your departure."

Dear readers, if you still do not understand, then our blog can do nothing more to clarify matters for you because we have exhausted our explanations on the subject.

We will not give up!
