THE ALI BONGO REGIME DENIES THAT IT HAS CUT INTERNET. LE RÉGIME ALI BONGO NIE QU’IL A COUPÉ INTERNET

English version

The Gabonese Minister of Interior, Pacôme Moubelet-Boubeya, went on state television to inform the world of two facts:

a) That Gabon had taken no measure restricting internet access.
b) That Jean Ping was using Internet to convey rumors.

But this minister must be technologically illiterate because he must not be aware of the fact that it is possible from outside Gabon to measure in real time, whether a country has access to the internet. In the third image above, you understand that since the announcement of the fraudulent results of the presidential election, access to Internet in Gabon was first totally cut off for nearly a week, then rationed to certain hours with very limited bandwidth as to not allow a lot of information transfers. Therefore, when the Gabonese minister comes to assert that Internet has not been altered, he makes a fool of himself and of Ali Bongo. Even the United Nations has asked Ali Bongo to restore Internet; enough said!

Then, until now, access to social networks like Facebook is blocked in Gabon.

Finally, the Gabonese Minister said that Jean Ping uses Internet to spread rumors. No, the regime is afraid that a free access to internet would enable Gabonese to broadcast images of the massacres perpetrated by Ali Bongo and his militia, against a defenseless population. Many readers tell us that members of their families in Gabon filmed these atrocities with their mobile phones and once internet restored, will broadcast these images. The regime is afraid that this information would be widely published. Images like the last two above, showing a compatriot who had his hand torn off by a grenade thrown into the crowd by Ali Bongo’s death squads. This compatriot has recorded a testimonial video we have already published, in which he describes lucidly the whole course of events. This will be useful at our Nuremberg!
