We were told that Bolloré was withdrawing from Africa. It was not knowing Françafrique, because Bolloré is one of its important pillars. Only the naïve would have believed that Françafrique had become wiser.

 

We learn that after selling their assets in Africa to the Italo-Suisse company MSC, Bolloré would have retained the lucrative market of ensuring the logistics of the French army in Africa.  Bolloré will continue to transport French equipment to their military bases in Africa.

 

For Central Africa alone, this contract amounted to 34 million euros for the year 2021 and the client was the transportation division of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. Bolloré transports cargo by land from the ports of Douala and Kribi in Cameroon and Libreville in Gabon. The objective is to supply the French Elements in Gabon, and those of the N'Djamena base in Chad.

On nous avait dit que Bolloré se retirait de l’Afrique. C’était mal connaitre la Françafrique, car Bolloré en est un des importants piliers. Seuls les naïfs auraient cru que la Françafrique s’était assagi.

 

Nous apprenons qu’après avoir vendu ses avoirs en Afrique à la société Italo-Suisse MSC, Bolloré aurait conservé le lucratif marché d’assurer la logistique de l’armée française en Afrique. Bolloré va continuer d’assurer les affrètements du matériel français vers leurs bases militaires en Afrique.

 

Rien que pour l’Afrique Centrale, ce contrat s’est élevé à 34 millions d'euros pour l’année 2021 et le client était la division transport du ministère français des armées. Bolloré achemine par voie terrestre le fret en provenance des ports de Douala et Kribi au Cameroun et de Libreville au Gabon. L’objectif est de ravitailler les Eléments français au Gabon, et ceux de la base de N'Djamena au Tchad.
