THE STATE OF THE GABONESE SOCIETY TELLS US THAT IT WOULD BE USELESS TO GO TO NEGOTIATE OR DIALOGUE WITH ALI BONGO. L’ÉTAT DE LA SOCIÉTÉ GABONAISE NOUS DIT QU’IL SERAIT INUTILE D’ALLER NÉGOCIER OU DIALOGUER AVEC ALI BONGO

English version

Any reasonable person would admit that the idea of a negotiation is often preferable to that of a conflict. However, there are many exceptions, and negotiating with Ali Bongo anything other than his departure, is one of them.

Since the return to the multiparty system in 1990, the Bongos have steadily stolen our votes, and then ask us to negotiate with them, our collective future. However, these negotiations have led to nothing, and have only strengthened the Bongo regime.

If yesterday the Gabonese people agreed to voluntarily put their future on hold; things seem to have changed today. When the teachers of the Léon Mba high school take to the street just a week after the closure of the AFCON that cost more than 400 billion CFA francs, because their working conditions are execrable, they cannot be offered as a solution the illusions of negotiation or dialogue that will result in a fools’ agreement.

Dear readers, about our future, we have nothing to negotiate with Ali Bongo, other than his departure.

We will not give up !
