ARE THE MEMBERS OF PDG CAPABLE OF SELF-CRITICISM? LES MEMBRES DU PDG SONT-ILS CAPABLES D’AUTOCRITIQUES ?

Gabon is in the process of veering dangerously towards monarchy. The Bongo regime is about to impose upon the Gabonese people, a third president whose name is Bongo. If public opinion and some parliamentarians of opposition political parties, have firmly expressed their disapproval of this disastrous monarchical project, it is clear that in the ranks of the PDG, the Bongos’ party, the monarchy does not bother anyone.

 

With the recent vote by show of hands of parliamentarians of the PDG in favor of the constitutional modifications which would consecrate the monarchization of the country by facilitating the arrival of another Bongo to power, we realize the simply ceremonial role of these parliamentarians whose function of MP clearly comes down to a paying job and nothing more.

 

Indeed, by comparing interviews conducted with members of political parties in the press, we can examine the occurrence of two specific modalities of political questioning: that of support and objection.

 

We realize that within the PDG, they never ask questions; they accept the wishes of the regime without asking the slightest question. Within the PDG, they are already in a monarchy!

 

A priori, for the members of the PDG, the statements, the excesses and the monarchical tinkering, in progress, are not to be challenged because in this party, they blindly believe in the royal sacredness of the Bongo regime. Do the members of the PDG realize the deep erosion of the Gabonese nation, under the Bongos?

 

Within the PDG, it is impossible to find even slight criticisms of the current monarchical project. They have already accepted and endorsed it; because any member who does not comply with the official vision of the monarchy knows very well that they are signing their termination of employment.

 

Who in the PDG would have the lucidity and the courage to say no; meaning to go against the mainstream idea of rejoicing in the monarchy?

Le Gabon est en train de virer dangereusement vers la monarchie. Le régime Bongo s’apprête à imposer au peuple Gabonais un troisième président dont le nom est Bongo. Si l’opinion publique et certains parlementaires des partis politiques de l’opposition, ont fermement énoncé leur désapprobation a ce funeste projet monarchique, force est de constater que dans les rangs du PDG, le parti des Bongo, la monarchie ne dérange personne.

 

Avec le récent vote à main levé des parlementaires du PDG en faveur des modifications constitutionnelles qui consacreraient la monarchisation du pays en facilitant l’arrivée d’un autre Bongo au pouvoir, on se rend compte du rôle simplement cérémonialiste de ces parlementaires dont la fonction de député se résume clairement à un poste rémunérateurs et rien de plus.

 

En effet, en comparant des entrevues menées avec des membres de partis politiques dans la presse, nous pouvons examiner l’occurrence de deux modalités précises de l’interrogation politique : les questions d’appui et celles d’objection.

 

On s’aperçoit qu’au PDG, on ne se pose jamais de questions ; on accepte les desiderata du pouvoir sans poser la moindre question. Au PDG, on est déjà en monarchie !

 

A priori, pour les membres du PDG, les énoncés, les dérives et bricolages monarchiques, en cours, sont incritiquables car dans ce parti, on croit aveuglement en la sacralité royale du pouvoir Bongo. Les membres du PDG se rendent-ils compte de la profonde érosion de la nation gabonaise, sous les Bongo ?

 

Au PDG, il est impossible de trouver des critiques, mêmes légères, à l’égard du projet monarchique en cours. Ils l’ont déjà accepté et entériné ; car tout membre ne se pliant pas à la vision officielle de la monarchie, sait bien qu’il signe son arrêt d’emploi.

 

Qui au PDG aurait la lucidité et le courage de dire non ; c’est-à-dire d’aller à contre-courant de la dominante idée se réjouissant de la monarchie ?
