AN ELECTORALIST NAMED BERTRAND ZIBI-ABEGHE! UN ÉLECTORALISTE NOMMÉ BERTRAND ZIBI-ABEGHE !
Today, by video, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe declared
himself a candidate for the 2023 presidential election. Even if it is his
absolute right to run for president in Gabon, it is still worth remembering
that:
From about 1988 to 1996, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe was
one of the infamous Cool-Mongers; a group of thugs set up by Ali Bongo and his
band of Renovators, to terrorize the Gabonese population and make the public
believe that the multiparty system was dangerous for the country because it was
a source of social instability.
After 1996, with the help of Ali Bongo, Bertrand
Zibi-Abeghe obtained from Omar Bongo a move to the USA where he went to do
business.
In the mid-2000s, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe returned to
Gabon and became involved in politics with André Mba-Obame and Ali Bongo. He would
become an MP for the PDG, the ruling party.
In 2009, he took up the cause of André Mba-Obame
against Ali Bongo. It was the rupture; but he remained a member of the PDG.
In 2016, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe resigned from the PDG
and joined Jean Ping's camp. He was arrested after the elections and imprisoned
for 6 years.
In 2023, once free, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe announces
his candidacy for the presidential election.
This blog believes it has the right to ask the
following questions:
1. Can we really think that someone who owes their
success to the Bongos, and who helped them stay in power by terrorizing the
Gabonese people, suddenly becomes the one for whom the freedom of the Gabonese
is now the north star?
2.What is Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe counting on to win
for Ali Bongo, who controls the Constitutional Court, the security forces, the
Ministry of the Interior, the media, etc. What is Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe's
momentum of electoralism based on?
For this blog, as long as Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe has
not clearly explained himself on these two fundamental questions, his
electoralism will seem to us at least, suspicious!

Zibi-Abeghe s’est déclaré candidat à l’élection présidentielle de 2023. Même si
c’est son droit le plus absolu de se présenter à l’élection présidentielle au
Gabon, il convient quand même de rappeler ceci :

Zibi-Abeghe fait partie des tristement célèbres Cool-Mongers ; un groupe
de malfrats mis en place par Ali Bongo et sa bande de Rénovateurs, pour
terroriser la population Gabonaise et faire croire à l’opinion que le
multipartisme était dangereux pour le pays car il était source d’instabilité
sociale.
Après 1996, avec l’aide
d’Ali Bongo, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe obtient d’Omar Bongo un départ vers les USA où
il va faire des affaires.
Au milieu des années 2000, Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe revient au Gabon et s’investit en
politique auprès d’André Mba-Obame et d’Ali Bongo. Il deviendra député du PDG,
le parti au pouvoir.
En 2009, il prend fait et
cause pour André Mba-Obame contre Ali Bongo. C’est la rupture mais il reste
membre du PDG.
En 2016, Bertrand
Zibi-Abeghe démissionne du PDG et rejoint le camp de Jean Ping. Il sera arrêté
après les élections et incarcéré pour 6 ans.
En 2023, libre, Bertrand
Zibi-Abeghe annonce sa candidature à l’élection présidentielle.
Ce blog se croit en droit de
poser les questions suivantes :
1.
Peut-on vraiment penser que quelqu’un qui doit
sa réussite aux Bongo, et qui les a aidés à se maintenir au pouvoir en
terrorisant les Gabonais, devienne subitement celui dont la liberté des
Gabonais soit désormais l’étoile du nord ?
2.
Sur
quoi compte Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe pour gagner face à Ali Bongo, qui contrôle la
Cour Constitutionnelle, les forces de sécurité, le ministère de l’Intérieur,
les media, etc… Sur quoi repose l’élan d’électoralisme de Bertrand Zibi-Abeghe ?
Pour ce blog, tant que Bertrand
Zibi-Abeghe ne se sera pas clairement expliqué sur ces deux questions
fondamentales, son électoralisme nous paraitra à minima, suspect !
