Ali Bongo has already corrupted many in the Gabonese opposition. He thinks that those who have resisted his corruptive offers could be overcome by arrest, torture, solitary confinement, banishment, and all forms of habitual harassment.

However, many in Gabon and abroad have decided that they would no longer be reduced to the archetypical stereotype of African oppositions that crumble easily under pressure. The Gabonese people have learned a lot since 1990 and many are determined to see the democratization of Gabon despite all odds.

Ali Bongo’s legislative election are stuck because despite all the efforts of the regime, many Gabonese are not biting as they no longer accept the political principle of negotiating backdoor deals with the regime that terrorizes them.

In response to the Bongos dictatorship, many Gabonese are more than ready to challenge the narrative wanting that they must be their subjects with very little say in how the country is run.

Let this be clear: the activism of Gabonese citizens at home in abroad is literally reshaping the narrative on the opposition because the people have realized and insist now, that Gabon should do better.

How Ali Bongo stole the 2016 election while killing and maiming the Gabonese people in the process, cannot be swept under the carpet. This is why we will not give up. Never!

Ali Bongo en a déjà corrompu beaucoup dans l'opposition gabonaise. Il pense que ceux qui ont résisté à ses offres de corruption pourraient être maitrisés par des arrestations, la torture, la détention en isolement, l’interdiction de voyager et toutes les formes de harcèlement habituelles.

Cependant, beaucoup au Gabon et à l'étranger ont décidé qu'ils ne seraient plus réduits à l’archétypique du stéréotype des oppositions africaines qui s'écroulent facilement sous la pression. Le peuple gabonais a beaucoup appris depuis 1990 et nombreux sont déterminés à voir se réaliser la démocratisation du Gabon, malgré tous les obstacles.

Les élections législatives d'Ali Bongo sont bloquées parce que malgré tous les efforts du régime, de nombreux Gabonais ne mordent pas à l’hameçon car ils n'acceptent plus le principe politique consistant à aller négocier des petits accords en sourdine avec le régime qui les terrorise.

En réponse à la dictature des Bongos, de nombreux Gabonais sont plus que prêts à défier la notion voulant qu'ils soient leurs sujets avec très peu d'influence sur la manière dont le pays est dirigé.

Soyons clairs: l'activisme des citoyens Gabonais chez eux et à l'étranger, est en train de remodeler littéralement le modèle d'opposition parce que les gens ont réalisé et insistent maintenant sur le fait que le Gabon devrait faire mieux.

Comment Ali Bongo a volé les élections de 2016 tout en tuant et en mutilant le peuple Gabonais dans le processus, ne peut pas être balayé sous le tapis. C'est pourquoi nous n'abandonnerons pas. Jamais!
