La Lettre du Continent tells us that Jean Ping is raising the pressure against Ali Bongo.

It is said that banned from any movement by Ali Bongo, Jean Ping has called on several international organizations about the detentions of his supporters, including Pascal Oyougou, incarcerated since the end of 2017 at the central prison of Libreville. The case has been entrusted to Parisian lawyer William Woll to alert the UN Human Rights Committee and the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights.

Through Me Woll, members of the Gabonese diaspora in Europe have sent a letter to Emmanuel Macron asking him not to recognize Ali Bongo. The French President has not responded, they have turned to the Council of State with the same request.

La Lettre du Continent nous dit que Jean Ping fait monter la pression contre Ali Bongo.

Il est dit qu’interdit de tout mouvement par Ali Bongo, Jean Ping aurait saisi plusieurs organisations internationales au sujet des détentions de ses partisans, dont Pascal Oyougou, incarcéré depuis la fin 2017 à la prison centrale de Libreville. Le dossier aurait été confié à l'avocat parisien William Woll pour alerter le Comité des droits de l'homme des Nations unies ainsi que la Cour africaine des droits de l'homme et des peuples.

Par l'entremise de Me Woll, des membres de la diaspora gabonaise en Europe auraient adressé un courrier à Emmanuel Macron pour lui demander de ne pas reconnaître Ali. Le Président Français n’ayant pas répondu, ils viennent de se tourner vers le Conseil d'Etat avec la même requête.
