Many compatriots have expressed the wish to see President Jean PING speak about Marie Madeleine Mborantsuo’s decision to dissolve the national assembly and the putschist government. We can understand these Gabonese, but that would be to say what exactly? To opine about what? Unthinkable! Add his voice to those who, both inside and out, condemn the situation? But it is obvious that having largely won the presidential election of August 27, 2016, and therefore, devoting his time since then to organize in carrying out the mandate given to him by the Gabonese people, that this can only be for him the umpteenth felony, consequence of the situation of the permanent constitutional coup in which our country is immersed since 2009.

The anti-PINGs, both the obvious ones and not so obvious, although a minority in the opinion, are trying to make the population believe that the President has abandoned the people who elected him. It is not so. Absolutely not! The President will never abandon his people. Never ! He remains convinced that the current agitation will not solve the multifaceted crisis in which our country finds itself.

The President is determined to go all the way, and the end is the victory of the result from the ballot box.

The end is the legitimate occupation of the presidential chair and the conduct of the country by the one chosen by the people. He will not fail in his commitment.

We are called to use as a model his constancy, a quality we have been missing for years.

We should also continue to trust him, as we did in August 2016, despite the posturing of an agonizing power that takes umbrage at the silence and disdain displayed by President PING.

The Gabonese people must have faith and confidence in the future. They must remain mobilized and determined for the ineluctable liberation of our country.

As long as the night is, the day always ends up rising.

*Ce silence qui fait tant de bruit !* 

De nombreux compatriotes ont émis le vœu de voir le Président Jean PING s'exprimer à propos de la décision de Marie-Madeleine Mborantsuo de dissoudre l’assemblée nationale et le gouvernement des putschistes. On peut comprendre ces Gabonais, mais ce serait pour dire quoi exactement ? Se prononcer pour ? Impensable ! Ajouter sa voix à celles qui, nombreuses, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, condamnent ? Mais il est évident qu’ayant largement remporté l’élection présidentielle du 27 août 2016 et, de ce fait, consacrant son temps depuis lors à s'organiser pour exercer le mandat que lui ont confié les Gabonais, il ne peut s’agir pour lui que d’une énième forfaiture, conséquence de la situation de coup d’Etat constitutionnel permanent dans laquelle notre pays se trouve depuis 2009. 

Les anti-PING primaires et secondaires, bien que minoritaires dans l'opinion, tentent de faire croire que le Président a abandonné le peuple qui l’a élu. Il n’en est rien. Absolument rien ! Le Président n’abandonnera jamais son peuple. Jamais ! Il reste convaincu que les agitations actuelles ne résoudront en rien la crise multiforme que connaît notre pays. 

Le Président est déterminé à aller jusqu’au bout, et le bout, c’est la victoire du résultat issu des urnes.

Le bout, c’est l’occupation légitime du fauteuil présidentiel et la conduite du pays par celui qui a été choisi par le peuple. Il ne faillira pas à son engagement.

Nous sommes appelés à prendre modèle sur sa constance, qualité qui nous manque depuis des années.

Nous sommes également appelés à continuer à lui faire confiance, comme en août 2016 et ce, en dépit des gesticulations d’un pouvoir agonisant qui prend ombrage du silence et du mépris affichés par le Président PING.

Les Gabonais doivent avoir foi et confiance en l’avenir. Ils doivent rester mobilisés et déterminés pour l’inéluctable libération de notre pays.

Aussi long que soit la nuit, le jour finit toujours par se lever.
