In an interview broadcasted by Africa 24 about the ill-gotten property she owns, Marie Madeleine Mborantsuo defended herself using the argument that if there is a person who deserves to have property in Gabon, it would have to be her because she would have given all her life to the Republic. One would be tempted to think that this lady has gone crazy. But perhaps her too close proximity to the Bongos has made her lose all sense of proportionality; and as she would have given everything to Omar Bongo (literally and figuratively), and as Omar Bongo in their eyes was substituted for Gabon, so for her, she has given everything to the republic!

Here is a lady who since 1991 has only been lying to and stealing from the Gabonese people. A lady who repetitively took away their votes. It is this woman who comes today to tell us that we should be grateful to her. What boldness!

Dans une interview diffusée par Africa 24 concernant les biens mal acquis dont elle serait propriétaire, Marie madeleine Mborantsuo se défend par l’argument selon lequel s’il y a bien une personne qui mériterait d’avoir des biens au Gabon, se serait-elle car elle aurait donné toute sa vie à la République. On serait tenté de penser que cette dame soit devenue folle. Mais peut-être que la trop grande proximité avec les Bongo lui a fait perdre tout sens de la mesure ; et comme elle aura tout donné à Omar Bongo (au propre comme au figuré), et comme Omar Bongo à leurs yeux se substitue au Gabon, donc pour elle, elle aura tout donné à la république !

Voici une dame qui depuis 1991, n’a fait que mentir et voler les Gabonais. Une dame qui n’a fait que leur dérober leurs suffrages. C’est cette femme qui vient aujourd’hui nous dire que nous lui devrions une fière chandelle. Il faut le faire !

C’est gens nous volent et nous tuent ; puis par-dessus le marché reviennent nous demander de leur en être reconnaissant.

On ne lâche rien !
