On 27 August 2016, we voted; you lost. Then you had the CENAP declare you the winner, despite all the evidence to the contrary. Then when we protested, you had your militia butcher us; before having your Constitutional Court wrap the election in a gift basket and offer it to you. No one believes your masquerade, but now you want to negotiate!

There is nothing to negotiate but your departure. We won, you lost, end of story. We know the high cost of freedom, and we will have to pay it just like those you have already killed have paid heavily. But our freedom will never be negotiable. We cannot negotiate the price of being free.

Your guns will not intimidate us. You tried to terrorize us and you failed; we are still standing. You killed some of us, yes, but we are stronger than ever. We repeat this to you, we will not negotiate our freedom!

We will not give up, 2016 will not be 2009!

Le 27 Août 2016, nous avons voté; tu as perdu. Ensuite, vous avez demandé à la CENAP de vous déclarer vainqueur, malgré toutes les preuves du contraire. Puis, quand nous avons protesté, vous avez envoyé votre milice nous massacrer; avant que votre Cour Constitutionnelle n’enveloppe l'élection dans un panier-cadeau et vous ne l'offre. Personne ne croit en votre mascarade, mais maintenant vous voulez négocier!

Il n'y a rien d’autre à négocier que votre départ. Nous avons gagné, vous avez perdu, fin de l'histoire. Nous savons que le coût de la liberté est élevé, et nous allons devoir payer, comme ceux que vous avez déjà tués ont payé un lourd tribut. Mais notre liberté ne sera jamais négociable. Nous ne pouvons négocier le fait d'être libres.

Vos armes ne vont pas nous intimider. Vous avez essayé de nous terroriser et vous avez échoué; nous sommes toujours debout. Vous avez tué certains d'entre nous, oui, mais nous sommes plus forts que jamais. Nous vous répétons, nous ne négocierons pas notre liberté!

Nous ne lâchons rien ; 2016 ne sera pas 2009!
