OLAM CORNERS THE GABONESE ECONOMY. NEXT STEP, THE OIL SECTOR. OLAM QUADRILLE L’ÉCONOMIE GABONAISE. PROCHAINE ÉTAPE, LE SECTEUR PÉTROLIER

English version

Without qualms and thanks to the mechanism of creating branches capped by the GSEZ, the Gabon Special Economic Zone, which it owns, Olam is in the process of taking control of almost all the Gabonese economy; at least its most lucrative sectors.

1. Timber: all timber cut in Gabon should now transit through Nkok for processing before leaving the country. Nkok is owned by Olam and the Bongos.

2. The Port: Olam controls a large part of the port of Owendo and considering that Bolloré is now in dire strait, let's not be surprised to see Olam recover 100% of the control of this port very soon.

3. The airport: as we are being reminded by the article presented in the image above, Olam now has control of the Libreville airport concession, without paying any money, but reaping all the profits generated.

4. Mines: Olam has already announced its interest in manganese and other minerals extracted from Gabon.

5. Electricity: Olam is seen as the most serious candidate for taking over SEEG.

6. Oil: the only sector that Olam has not yet declared its interest. But with the difficulties that are being experienced by Total Gabon, this blog thinks it's only a matter of time.

When Olam will have 100% control of our economy tomorrow and you will complain about being slaves on the land of your ancestors, remember that when Olam was taking over your economy, you were going to vote in Ali Bongo's legislative election.

We will not give up!

  1. One should thank the Bongos for providing employment to so many Indians who are now working at GSEZ.
GSEZ PORT does not pay any taxes and most of the employees are Indians - in a country that speaks french and the Indians speak english. Even with so many compatriots having experience in running a port - the cream jobs are given to Indians and the Gabonese remain plain workers / manual labors. Even the accountants are from india ??? Does Gabon not have accountants too??
The GSEZ Airport, a country which does not have an proper university, which does not have good hospitals, which welcomes less than 2Million visitors per year and most of them oil and gas employees or indians(now) or expat workers. The current airport is more that sufficient...still the indians will mortgage the country to build another airport.

The only thing that OLAM presence in Gabon is bringing the country is more Indians and jobs and business to Indians.
