You remember, dear readers, that following the vote by the European Union Parliament of a resolution condemning the Gabonese regime in connection with the post-election crisis, Ali Bongo's Minister of Communication had stated that in any case, "Gabon is not a member of the European Union for such a resolution to be adopted against it".

The implication was for this regime's henchman to insinuate that Gabon had no lessons to receive from the EU and vice versa. That the two spheres, the European and the African, should take care of their respective selves; without any interference from one over the other.

Verbiage is good, but it is in the facts that one judges convictions.

Dear readers, it is to this same EU that the Ali Bongo’s regime went to show its hat to implore a financing of 571 million CFA francs, in order to provide for the needs of the professional insertion in Gabon.

Vous vous souvenez, chers lecteurs, que suite au vote du parlement de l’Union Européenne d’une résolution condamnant le régime Gabonais en rapport avec la crise post-électorale, le ministre de la Communication d’Ali Bongo avait affirmé que de toute façon, «Le Gabon n’est pas membre de l’union européenne pour qu’une telle résolution soit adoptée contre lui».

L’implication était pour ce sbire du régime, d’insinuer que le Gabon n’avait aucune leçon à recevoir de l’UE et vice versa. Que les deux espaces, l’européen et l’Africain, devait s’occuper de leurs oignons respectifs ; sans interférence aucune de l’un sur l’autre.

Le verbiage c’est bien, mais c’est dans les faits que l’on juge les convictions.

Chers lecteurs, c’est auprès de cette même UE que le régime Ali Bongo est allé tendre son chapeau pour implorer un financement 571 millions de francs CFA, afin de subvenir aux besoins de l’insertion professionnelle au Gabon.
