The people of Woleu-Ntem have always asked for roads, but they are answered with promises. They ask for reliable hospitals, credible universities, and above all, the revitalization of the cocoa-coffee sector, which was destroyed by Omar Bongo to impoverish these populations, make them dependent, and thus kounabélisables at will.

The solutions to lift a country out of poverty are well known. Other nations have demonstrated them. What CBON is doing is nothing but political theater with a very short lifespan.

Quand on voit les images de CBON dans le Woleu-Ntem faisant des promesses dignes des années 60 aux populations, on mesure le retard qui non seulement s’est accumulé en termes d’infrastructures au fil des ans, mais aussi et surtout dans les têtes des gens.

Comment peut-on prendre CBON au sérieux quand il dit qu’il n’appartient pas à cette classe de chefs d’État africains qui investissent en Occident, alors qu’une enquête occidentale avait révélé qu’il possédait au moins 3 maisons aux USA, toutes payées cash pour plus d’un million de dollars ; ce qui fait plus de 600 millions de francs CFA. De qui se moque-t-on ?

Les Woleu-Ntemois, depuis toujours, demandent des routes, mais on leur répond par des promesses. Ils demandent des hôpitaux fiables, des universités crédibles et, surtout, la revitalisation de la filière cacao-café qui avait été détruite par Omar Bongo pour appauvrir ces populations et les rendre dépendantes, et donc kounabélisables à souhait.

Les solutions pour sortir un pays de la pauvreté sont connues. D’autres pays en ont fait la démonstration. Ce que fait CBON n’est que du cinéma dont la durée de vie sera très courte.

Comment pouvez-vous croire qu’un régime qui n’arrive pas à résoudre la problématique de l’eau et de l’électricité à Libreville va apporter la prospérité aux populations rurales de Minvoul ?
