The above article from Gabonreview, discusses the hypothesis of contamination of the tests used by Copil, to justify the exponential growth of cases of positive coronavirus in Gabon. This is a very serious allegation which casts doubt on the scientific rigor of the Copil's results. The culprits for this confusion are only the members of the Copil themselves.

L’article ci-dessus de Gabonreview, évoque l’hypothèse d’une contamination des tests utilisés par le Copil, pour justifier la croissance exponentielle des cas de coronavirus positifs au Gabon. C’est une allégation très sérieuse qui sème le doute sur la rigueur scientifique des résultats du Copil. Les coupables de cette confusion ne sont que les membres du Copil eux-mêmes.

En effet, ce blog a toujours demandé au Copil d’être le plus transparent possible et surtout le plus scientifique possible, sur la méthodologie utilisée pour tester les patients et surtout pour déterminer qui est positif et qui est négatif.

Jusqu’à ce jour, le grand public ne sait rien du type de tests utilisés ; de leur fiabilité et surtout de leur intégrité dans la chaine de transmission du patient au laboratoire et du laboratoire au résultat. Si Gabonreview pose des questions, c’est que son lectorat doit se les poser aussi ; et si le lectorat se pose ces questions c’est parce que le Copil a encore une fois été négligeant dans sa communication.

Des articles de presse ont établi que certains kits de tests fabriqués en Chine se sont révélés contaminés et donc inutilisables pour les tests. Dans des pays comme le Canada et la Tanzanie, les autorités ont effectué un contrôle de qualité pour vérifier si ces tests étaient fiables, et c'est ainsi que ces tests défectueux ont été découverts avant de pouvoir être utilisés pour tester les patients.
