English version

This French publication informs us of a meeting that took place recently in Paris between Jean Ping who recently illustrated himself by a statement of breaking up with the ruling regime and his resignation from the PDG, and Jacques Adiahenot, a former Minister, and a former Secretary General of the PDG (1991-1994). Should we see this as a precursor to the official departure of Adiahenot from the ruling party just as Ping just did? This would be possible because since 2009, Jacques Adiahenot has had nothing to do with the regime, to paraphrase the formula used by Ping. The near future will certainly instruct us!

According to that publication, Veolia (in Gabon SEEG) has welcomed the appointment of Desiré Guédon as Minister of Energy. Apparently, the latter gentleman would be more willing to dialogue with the French company, than his predecessor. It also argues that the standoff between Ali Bongo and Total could find its origin in the “Jean Ping case." Apparently , says the publication , this request for tax reviews against several industrial groups based in Gabon, with Total being one, would not only be evidence of a difficult financial situation for the treasury of the country, but also respond to a desire to attack the interests of Jean Ping. At the Ministry of Economy, Christophe Akagha Mba would be tasked with the mission to solve all teachers’ claims before 2016. In this he would be supported by a freemason duo: Pacôme Moubelet-Boubeya for Higher Education, and Leon Nzouba for Technical Education. For this, Ali Bongo needs fresh cash. Common funds are only a part of this, but in requiring the payment of such tax adjustments, Ali Bongo and his team would receive the jackpot and hope to project an image to the Gabonese people, of Zorro going to the assault of foreign companies for the well-being of the populations. But under the microscope, the publication shows that this operation is designed primarily to attack frontally and weaken Pascaline Bongo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Total Gabon and former companion of Jean Ping. In the same vein, in its all-out quest for cash, Ali Bongo also would demand 160 billion F CFA from Comilog, a subsidiary of Eramet. As might be expected, the LDC does miss to end by concluding that Christophe Akagha Mba will work under the direct supervision of Maixent Accrombessi .

We also learn that the 2G consulting firm would soon bring the Gabonese State to justice, over the dispute between the firm and the National Agency for Major Works. The firm claims that the agency located within the Gabonese Presidential palace, ows it payment of 10 billion CFA francs, resulting from services delivered for the organization of the CAN 2012. In particular, the rehabilitation of the Omnisport Omar Bongo stadium, which works were stopped due to lack of payment by the State.

Finally, the LDC said that following the official break of Jean Ping from the regime, for which Accrombessi holds her fully responsible, Pascaline Bongo has definitely emptied and vacated her offices at the Presidential palace, leaving behind the post of High Personal Representative of her brother. The soap opera that is just beginning and more should be revealed between now and 2016.
