SINCE THE BONGOS DO NOT WANT TO TELL THE TRUTH, THEN THE TRUTH SHALL BE IMPOSED UPON THEM. PUISQUE LES BONGO NE VEULENT PAS DIRE LA VÉRITÉ, ALORS LA VÉRITÉ DEVRA S’IMPOSER Á EUX

English version

We are to ask, in light of the latest statement by Jean Boniface Assélé about the birth of his "nephew" Ali Bongo, whether the Bongos consider the Gabonese as a completely vegetative people unable to discern truth from falsehood.

It is Plato in the Republic, who explains the reason for political lies; these lies the rulers bombard the ruled with, are sociological lies intended for the people to accept the monopolization of political power by a small minority. The problem with the rampant use of lies, as do the Bongos at this time about the birth of Ali Bongo, is that over time the credibility of the liars erodes because they lie so much. These liars gradually lose the means to distinguish between what they say and what they should try to check before lying some more. We note for the Bongos that the dynamics of lying in which they are engaged, destroys their ability to be self-critical over the events, leading them to a strategic weakness that lead them to now be overtaken by events that demonstrate that their lies today are in contradiction with those of yesterday.

Jean Boniface Assélé also came to provide his revised version of the birth of Ali Bongo in Brazzaville, on 9 February 1959. He even told us that he held Ali Bongo in his arms when he visited his sister Josephine Nkama at the General Hospital of Brazzaville’s nursery. Two new information are revealed here: the first is the name of the hospital, and the second is that Josephine Nkama had the time to receive visitors who rocked her baby in the maternity ward. These statements are problematic at various levels which we examine point by point.

1. We contacted the ASNOM which is the Association Amicale Santé Navale et d’Outre-Mer of France, and is responsible to archive all documents of the French colonial hospitals worldwide. It was possible to obtain the list of French doctors stationed in Brazzaville in 1959; but also to verify that while the Brazzaville General Hospital was inaugurated in 1958, its maternity and surgical service will only be truly operational after independence, because the new hospital was under the governance of the French military health services and they had to transfer it to the civilian of the cooperation; and the military doctors were returning to France and those of the cooperation were arriving to take over and this delayed the functionality of the maternity ward and surgery service. We asked the head of the ASNOM if they had in their archives a record of a birth of a baby by cesarean section from a mother named Josephine Nkama. The answer was no. It was not until 1960 that this hospital became really open to the public with its 650 beds and services divided into different sections: surgery, medicine, pediatrics, maternity. Another valuable information given to us by ASNOM, is that at that time the African chief nurse of the hospital was none other than Jean Malonga, the first Congolese writer, and that it is his service that delivered certificates of birth to new parents. This is the same Jean Malonga who thanks to his expertise and know-how, would become upon independence, the Chief of Staff of all that hospital. Dear readers, we have here a list of doctors, we know that Jean Malonga was the head nurse issuing birth papers and we know that the maternity ward was not fully ready in February 1959. We can compare this information to what the Bongos are saying.

2. The second point is the contradictions between Assélé’s reviewed and modified story, and that of the alleged mother. Jean Boniface Assélé claims that he held the child in his arms when he visited his sister in the maternity ward. Josephine Nkama however says that she had to flee the hospital a few hours after her cesarean delivery because of the fighting that raged in that environment. We have already established that escaping a few hours after a cesarean section was a miracle; and that on 9 February 1959 there was no civil war violence in Brazzaville. We add to this skepticism the fact that Assélé says to have had visited his sister and rocked the baby, presumably "during the civil war" while the mother at the same time was fleeing the hospital. You understand dear readers, that this story is ridiculously inconsistent! In addition, the ASNOM confirms that the General Hospital of Brazzaville similarly to the main public buildings, was placed under French military protection during the riots of 1959 and that people were safer inside the hospital, where the wounded were cared for, than outside. It would have been surprising that the mother leaves the security of the hospital under French protection, to go to the neighborhood where political violence was occurring. This explanation of a clear lucidity convinced us that Assélé and his sister were hopelessly stuck in lies.

When we see the defenders of the indefensible take turns in State media in Gabon lately, to say they played with Alain Bongo as a child, they held him in their arms, they saw him at Ales etc., while it is clear that the mere comparison of their assertions with evidence and common sense, reveals the contrary; one can only conclude that these people who are defending this scam perpetrated upon the Gabonese people, come to recite lies written for them by the impostors. These accomplices whose false testimonies are invariably proven to be simulated and powerless against the truth, are permanently marked by their participation in this attempted forgery. Before the Gabonese people now rather amused by their gestures, their words of falsehood and propaganda explode and disintegrate like soap bubbles. The people as a whole will advise and history will remember!
