Jeannot Kalima, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources and Joel Sandoungout, the Director General of SEEG; spent a difficult evening in front of the Gabonese people during the program "Les Grands Dossiers".

 

Their answers (theirs and those of their technical teams) were unconvincing and often evasive. When we know the strategic importance of water and electricity, the Gabonese people expected better and were left wanting more.

 

Only Emmanuel Berre had a satisfactory performance. The rest of the experts on set fell short of expectations. We collectively give them a lenient 9 out of 20 because they inherited a difficult situation that they didn't always cause.

 

Things need to improve very quickly, because this program revealed that SEEG was in fact a devastated company and incapable to provide the Gabonese people with the services they expect. If things remain as they are, the CTRI risks finding itself with unprecedented social discontent.

Jeannot Kalima, le Ministre de l’Energie et des Ressources Hydrauliques et Joel Sandoungout, le Directeur Général de la SEEG ; ont passé une soirée difficile devant les Gabonais lors de l’émission « Les Grands Dossiers ».

 

Leurs réponses (eux et leurs équipes techniques), ont été non convaincantes et souvent évasives. Quand on connait l’importance stratégique de l’eau et de l’électricité, les Gabonais s’attendaient à mieux et sont restés sur leur faim.

 

Seul Emmanuel Berre a eu une prestation satisfaisante. Le reste des experts sur le plateau ont été en dessous des attentes. Nous leur donnons collectivement un indulgent 9 sur 20 car ils ont hérité d’une situation difficile qu’ils n’ont pas toujours causée.

 

Il faut que les choses s’améliorent très vite, car cette émission a révélé que la SEEG était de fait une société sinistrée et incapable de fournir aux Gabonais les services dont ils s’attendent. Si les choses restent en l’état, le CTRI risque de se retrouver avec une grogne sociale sans précédent.
