TO DEFEND ALI BONGO, BILIÉ BI NZÉ TAKES REFUGE IN THE CHAOS THEORY! POUR DÉFENDRE ALI BONGO, BILIÉ BI NZÉ SE RÉFUGIE DANS LA THÉORIE DU CHAOS!

English Version

In an article in Afriki Press, the Spokesman of the Presidency of the Republic, Alain Claude Bilié Bi Nzé, wanting to come to the rescue of Ali Bongo, jumps into an amalgam by linking Ali Bongo’s removal and the civil war that devastated the Ivory Coast. This blog objects to this type of demagogic and unhealthy shortcut; against such uses of chaos theory to justify the unjustifiable.

Afriki Press says that Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé was in Paris at the Africa Information Office and presented Ali Bongo’s economic and social policy and the results obtained in Gabon. One can imagine that without opponents, Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé did certainly delivered in its presentation an inflation of benefits of “emerging” Gabon. But Afriki Press said that in response to a question about Ali Bongo’s fake birth certificate, Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé answered as follows:

"In all my life I have not seen a child that is born and has their own birth certificate established. It is that some elements on the birth certificate of the President are challenged by the opposition and for which it has seized the Gabonese courts and these courts have ruled. President Ali Bongo Ondimba was born Alain Bernard Bongo, as he was not yet Muslim. When Albert-Bernard Bongo (the late Omar Bongo: Ed) converted to Islam in 1973, some of his children became Muslims also, not all. So Alain Bernard Bongo becomes Ali Bongo. First factual objective element for which a new entry is made on the birth certificate. Second element, Omar Bongo that everyone knew as Albert-Bernard Bongo wanted to add the surname of his father Ondimba on his name and becomes Omar Bongo Ondimba. For this second objective element, another entry will be added to the birth certificate. If the registrar who did it did not proceed in accordance with the regulations, is it the fault of the one who has sought to add a new element to their birth certificate? (...) Do you know how many Gabonese who have problems with their birth certificates? There are hundreds of thousands. We have a problem in Gabon with the civil file. That the opposition decides that this is a political argument, that's their choice. I thought they had more arguments than that. Especially from people who have seen Ali Bongo be born and grow up. He grew up sometimes with their children; these people were barons of the regime. Their children grew up in the president's court. When they become opponents and choose the political argument of the birth of the president, it reminds us of the Ivory Coast. Should Gabon go through the same paths as the Ivory Coast? I do not know if that is the political project of some. But when the concept of ivoirité was launched, nobody imagined the thousands of deaths that it would cause. Let’s us be careful with these kinds of things."

Dear readers, here we are in the middle of chaos theory. What is happening in Gabon has nothing to do with any gabonité that would be symmetrical to ivoirité in the Ivory Coast. It is that Ali Bongo is simply guilty of using false documents to circumvent Article 10 of the Constitution of Gabon. Ali Bongo himself acknowledged on RFI that the documents were forgeries. Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé tries to exonerate Ali Bongo by saying that a child does not themself establish a birth certificate; true, but the problem for Bilié-Bi-Nzé is that when Ali Bongo has this fraudulent birth certificate made, in 2009, he was an adult and not a child; he was exactly 50 years. The question to ask is: how can someone be 50 years old and accept to receive and to use a birth certificate that they know not to be conforming to the original, if that is the Bilié-Bi-Nzé argument? The other constitutional question is: why the Constitutional Court, which had the mission to authenticate the documents submitted in the application forms, found nothing abnormal about the Ali Bongo’s birth certificate, when all Gabonese in less than 30 seconds managed to deduce that the document was false? The Constitutional Court went so far as to reject the appeal of Luc Bengono Nsi who established that document as a fake, on what basis, since Ali Bongo himself acknowledged that the document was a fake on RFI? Is the acceptance of forgery and use of it a precept of the "rule of law" that Gabon intends to model as a nation?

You see. Dear readers, when one reasons coldly, logically and constitutionally, the forfeiture of Ali Bongo is confirmed without a shadow of a doubt. Especially since he can never present an original as the colonial archives of the AEF, located in Nantes in France, have already established that no child born Alain Bernard Bongo in 1959 in Brazzaville, exists on their records; and also that no school has been able to present the trace of a birth certificate establishing to Alain Bongo who became Ali Bongo an hypothetical birth in Brazzaville in 1959.

What is left to adventurers such as Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé, as an argument? Fear! They must scare the Gabonese people by brandishing the example of the Ivory Coast, so that all claims can be be buried and forgotten.

That the constitution is trampled by Ali Bongo, its ok; that the stipulation contained in the Gabonese Constitution are violated, it does not matter, you must close your eyes, under the threat of violence in Gabon. But Mr Bilié-Bi-Nzé, who will introduce violence in Gabon? Who brutelizes protesters in Gabon? Who is gagging free Gabonese? Who violates the Constitution? There must be a threshold where the average Gabonese says, "My citizenship has been flouted too many times, enought!" Advocating chaos theory as does Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé will not influence anyone in Gabon because too many free Gabonese are determined to go all the way!

Alain-Claude Bilié-Bi-Nzé must know that the rejection of Ali Bongo is not the matter of a few citizens; but that of the overwhelming majority of people who believe that a "considerable" people, to paraphrase Pierre Claver Akendengué, cannot have a forger for president. So, overall, the procedure for future action is in line with the dismissal of Ali Bongo, nothing more nothing less. The Gabonese people will not be intimidated by the references to violence, by fear, whether direct or insidious; because the Gabonese people that some had believed to be dead, was only convalescent and is waking up gradually. No, the Gabonese hero who are watching from where they are, who gave their lives for the freedom of this country and who no longer have the chance to be among us, did not die for this poor result of having a forger at the head of Gabon.
