THE AMOUNT OF ETIENNE NGOUBOU’S BAIL. LE MONTANT DE LA CAUTION D’ÉTIENNE NGOUBOU

According to Africa Energy Intelligence, Ali Bongo has made the former Gabonese Oil minister from 2012 to 2017, Etienne Ngoubou, pay a bail of 50 million francs, for him to be released on October 5th.

Etienne Ngoubou had been in pre-trial detention since 2017, for corruption. He was released on bail pending the next legal rounds that would take place by the end of the year. Meanwhile, Etienne Ngoubou would have gone to his homeland in Mayumba in southern Gabon.

D’après Africa Energy Intelligence, Ali Bongo aurait fait payer à l'ex-ministre Gabonais du pétrole entre 2012 et 2017, Etienne Ngoubou, une caution de 50 millions de francs, pour que ce dernier obtienne sa libération le 5 octobre dernier.

Etienne Ngoubou était en détention préventive depuis 2017, pour corruption. Il a été libéré sous caution en attendant les prochaines joutes légales qui auraient lieu d’ici la fin de l’année. Entre temps, Etienne Ngoubou serait allé chez lui à Mayumba dans le sud du Gabon.
