Dear readers, have you ever heard that a rapper is the personal friend of the Ghanaian or South African Head of State? Never ! Why ? Because these countries have serious leaders who have real plans for their country and don't have time for hedonistic activities.

 

The funeral of Hamed Bakayoko in the Ivory Coast, have allowed us to see how much this man, who had been Alassane Ouattara's pawn since the age of 20, had subjugated and corrupted the Ivorian artistic world. In Gabon, Ali Bongo has been friends with a few local and foreign rappers such as Booba and Akon. Universal Music Africa is a subsidiary of Vivendi, which itself is part of the Bolloré group. Universal Music Africa was established in the Ivory Coast in 2015 thanks to the relationship of one of the two general managers of Bolloré Africa Logistics, Philippe Labonne and the one who at the time, was Minister of the Interior of Ivory Coast, Hamed Bakayoko. Note that Vincent Bolloré is a close friend of the Ivorian presidential couple and that Bolloré Transport & Logistics operates part of the terminal of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan.

Les obsèques d’d’Hamed Bakayoko en Côte d’Ivoire, nous ont permis de constater combien cet homme, qui était le pion d’Alassane Ouattara depuis l’âge de 20 ans, avait inféodé et corrompu le monde artistique Ivoirien. Mais quel était l’utilité politique de cette proximité avec les artistes ? Elle rendait la manipulation et le contrôle de la jeunesse plus facile ; car qui contrôle la jeunesse, contrôle le futur.

Universal Music Africa s'est implanté en Côte d'Ivoire en 2015 grâce aux relations d'un des deux directeurs généraux de Bolloré Africa Logistics, Philippe Labonne et celui qui à l’époque, le ministre de l’Intérieur de la Côte d’Ivoire, Hamed Bakayoko. A noter que Vincent Bolloré est un intime du couple présidentiel Ivoirien, et que Bolloré Transport & Logistics exploite une partie du terminal du Port autonome d'Abidjan.

L’Elysée considère que le milieu artistique francophone noir serait un trait d'union parfait entre la France et l'Afrique francophone où ces artistes jouissent d'une popularité croissante, ce sont donc de potentiels relais d'influence auprès de la jeunesse du continent. Longtemps tenus à distance par la classe politique, les rappeurs ont été particulièrement courtisés ces dernières années tant par l'Elysée que le Quai d'Orsay. A ce titre, dans le cadre du Sommet Afrique-France qui devait se tenir à Bordeaux en juin 2020, un grand concert de musiques urbaines avait été prévu avec la participation de vedettes noires telles que Gaël Faye, Aya Nakamura, Gims etc. Mais la Covid-19 est passée par là !
