In 2018, then Minister of Water and Energy in Gabon, Patrick Eyogo-Edzang announced the withdrawal of the SEEG concession from the Veolia group. The reason given? The poor quality of services to the population during the 20 years of management by Veolia of SEEG (see the video above).

 

Now, after taking over SEEG, the Gabonese government has found no better way in 2020 to turn this company around than to call the ex-CEO of Veolia, Henri Proglio, as a super consultant. He is said to be about to complete his audit of the SEEG. Here is the Gabonese government calling to the rescue someone it found incompetent in 2018. What is happening in this regime?

 

Henri Proglio would have carried out a financial and infrastructural audit of SEEG, apparently this audit would prepare a new privatization of this company. Who are the prospective candidates to take over SEEG? Suez and Veolia, two French companies. We're going around in circles in Gabon!

En 2018, alors Ministre de l’Eau et de l’Energie au Gabon, Patrick Eyogo-Edzang annonçait le retrait de la concession SEEG au groupe Veolia. La raison donnée ? La mauvaise qualité des services à la population pendant les 20 ans de management par Veolia de la SEEG (voir la vidéo ci-dessus).

 

Voici qu’après avoir récupéré la SEEG, le gouvernement Gabonais n’a pas trouvé mieux en 2020 pour redresser cette entreprise, que de rappeler l’Ex-PDG de Veolia, Henri Proglio, comme super consultant. Ce dernier serait sur le point d'achever son audit de la SEEG. Voici que le gouvernement Gabonais rappelle à la rescousse quelqu’un qu’il trouvait incompétent en 2018. Qu’est ce qui se passe au sein de ce régime ?

 

Henri Proglio aurait procédé à un audit financier et infrastructurel de la SEEG, apparemment cet audit préparerait une nouvelle privatisation de cette entreprise. Qui sont les candidats pressentis pour reprendre la SEEG ? Suez et Veolia, deux sociétés françaises. On tourne en rond au Gabon !
