THE FORMER WEST AND EQUATORIAL FRENCH AFRICA IS ON ITS WAY TO MONARCHIZATION! L’ANCIENNE AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE ET ÉQUATORIALE FRANÇAISE EST EN VOIE DE MONARCHISATION !

French West Africa (AOF) was formed by France in 1895 and included 8 West African colonies: Mauritania, Senegal, French Sudan (now Mali), Guinea, Ivory Coast, Niger, Haute-Volta (now Burkina Faso), Togo and Dahomey (now Benin).

 

Today, the spearhead of the ex-AOF is the Ivory Coast; and this country is in the process of monarchization. Unfortunately, Togo is already a monarchy and there is strong suspicion of preparation for monarchy in Guinea.

 

Consequently, out of 8 countries, Togo is already monarchical; the Ivory Coast is on the verge of being so, and Guinea is preparing for it as well. So, a rate of 3 out of 8.

 

French Equatorial Africa (AEF) was started in 1910 and brought together 4 countries: Gabon, Middle-Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), Chad and Oubangui-Chari (now the Central African Republic).

 

Of the 4 countries of the former AEF, only one is not a monarchy or in the process of monarchy, the CAR. The other 3 are pillars of Françafrique headed by families that intend to transmit power to their descendants.

 

In total, of the 12 countries constituting the former French colonial blocks in Africa, 6 are either monarchies or in the process of becoming so. A rate of 50%.

 

This is the worrying direction the former French colonies in Africa are taking and this blog does not think this is an accident. When Chirac said democracy was a luxury for Africans, he was expressing a sentiment rooted in that country's political and business establishment.

L'Afrique-Occidentale française (AOF) fut formée par la France en 1895 et comprenait 8 colonies d'Afrique de l'Ouest : la Mauritanie, le Sénégal, le Soudan français (devenu le Mali), la Guinée, la Côte d'Ivoire, le Niger, la Haute-Volta (devenue le Burkina Faso), le Togo et le Dahomey (devenu le Bénin).

 

Aujourd’hui, le fer de lance de l’ex-AOF est la Côte d’Ivoire ; et ce pays est en voie de monarchisation. Malheureusement, le Togo est déjà une monarchie et il y a de forts soupçons de préparation à la monarchisation en Guinée.

 

Par conséquent, sur 8 pays, le Togo est déjà monarchique ; la Côte d’Ivoire est sur le point de l’être et la Guinée s’y prépare. Donc un taux de 3 sur 8.

 

L'Afrique-Équatoriale française (AEF) fut constituée en 1910 et regroupait 4 pays: le Gabon, le Moyen-Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), le Tchad et l'Oubangui-Chari (devenu la République centrafricaine).

 

Des 4 pays de l’ancienne AEF, un seul n’est pas une monarchie ou en voie de monarchisation, la RCA. Les 3 autres sont des piliers de la Françafrique ayant à leur tête des familles qui entendent transmettre le pouvoir à leurs descendants.

 

Au total, sur les 12 pays constituant les anciens blocks coloniaux français en Afrique, 6 sont soit des monarchies, soit en voie de le devenir. Un taux de 50%.

 

Voici l’inquiétante direction que prennent les anciennes colonies Françaises d’Afrique et ce blog ne pense pas que cette situation soit un accident. Quand Chirac avait dit que la démocratie était un luxe pour les Africains, il exprimait un sentiment enraciné dans l’establishment politique et affairiste de ce pays.
