WOULD YOU TAKE A TRAIN THAT DERAILS EVERY 3-4 MONTHS? EMPRUNTERIEZ-VOUS UN TRAIN QUI DÉRAILLE TOUS LES 3-4 MOIS ?
In 2020,
the Transgabonais operating company (Setrag) recorded three train derailments.
On average one derailment every 4 months.
In 2019,
there were just as many derailments.
In the
first quarter of 2021, there has already been a derailment.
Dear
readers, we can therefore conclude that statistically, in the current state of
the Gabonese railway, we will have at least 1 derailment every 3 or 4 months
and if nothing is done, we risk deploring significant loss of life. This is too
high of a risk. A much higher level of risk than Covid-19 in Gabon.
In a
serious country, rail traffic would be purely and simply stopped to secure and
modernize the railway.

d’exploitation du Transgabonais (Setrag), a enregistré trois déraillements de
trains. En moyenne un déraillement tous les 4 mois.
En 2019, il y a eu autant
de déraillements.
Au premier trimestre
2021, il y a déjà un déraillement.
Chers lecteurs, nous
pouvons donc conclure que statistiquement, dans l’état actuel de voie ferrée
gabonaise, nous aurons au minimum 1 déraillement tous les 3 ou 4 mois et si
rien n’est fait, nous risquons de déplorer d’importantes pertes en vie. C’est
un niveau de risque trop élevé. Un niveau de risque bien plus élevé que la
Covid-19 au Gabon.
Dans un pays sérieux, le trafic ferroviaire serait purement et simplement arrêté
pour une sécurisation et modernisation des installations.
