MR. MOUNDOUNGA, WHAT KIND OF CULTURE ARE YOU SERVING US? M. MOUNDOUNGA, VOUS NOUS SERVEZ QUELLE CULTURE?

English version

Mr. Seraphin Moundounga, sacrilege ... Dr. Seraphin Moundounga is the Gabonese Minister of National Education, Higher Learning and Technology, of Vocational Training and Scientific Research, in charge of Culture, Youth and Sports . Dear readers, on paper, this is a super minister and it would be expected to be a monster of management and academia, if in Gabon the song was related to plumage! But alas, Gabon being what it is, it is Seraphin Moundounga who is the incarnation of academic management and cultural expression. Dear readers, fasten your seat belts because there will be turbulence...

The cultural ministry of Dr. Seraphin Moundounga illustrated itself recently by the organization of what their services called Carnival International of Libreville, with the main attraction being Brazilian dancers and it is the rather dubious "cultural" aspect of some of these dancers which leads us to ask Dr. Seraphin Moundounga, in this post, to kindly explain what cultural aspect justifies the invitation of some of these lovely Brazilians?

As you can see above, Seraphim Moundounga and Deputy Minister Ernest Walker-Onewin did not hesitate to pose for posterity (and perhaps also the rear) with a charming Brazilian guest named Jacqueline Faria. But dear readers, who is this charming Brazilian who came to play cultural ambassador to Gabon, at your expense? Is this the kind of person you would like to have cultural exchanges with? Or rather have an exchange of another kind (if you know what we mean)? Is Gabon’s reputation enhanced when its super minister invites "culturally" this type of person, while Brazil has much to offer in terms of culture of the highest caliber? But who is Jacqueline Faria?

Dear readers, Jacqueline Faria, the pretty woman in the photos, is a playmate, that is to say a young woman who posed nude for Playboy magazine. Each month, the magazine selects a very pretty woman and reveals her naked forms to its readers, in positions increasingly daring. Jacqueline Faria is part of this select group of women have revealed all their corporal secrets to the readers of Playboy. Her biography, yes even playmates have one, says that she was noticed in the television series Big Brother Brazil, during which she was voted to have "the most aphrodisiac curves" of this television series. You understand, dear readers, the lovely Jacqueline Faria is an ambassador for sex appeal and not much anything else. There is no shame in this, and there are no stupid jobs. But should she be presented as a cultural ambassador to the gullible Gabonese public? If yes, what culture are we talking about? It would be good for the Gabonese Ministry of Culture to provide an explanation as to why taxpayer's money was used to bring these Brazilians in the name of a cultural exchange. Well, then explain to us the nature and type of culture that has been exchanged!

What is culture? Question eternally difficult to find a satisfactory answer to. But we can agree on the fact that culture participates in the process of building intellectual and moral human beings; which allows them to rise, to grow, to thrive. Some say that culture is a pedagogy that instructs the soul, about judgment, sensitivity and openness to the world. We can think of Jacqueline Faria as being able to cause something to rise within Seraphin Moundounga but this elevation was not intellectual, if you know what we mean...

Question éternellement difficile à y trouver réponse satisfaisante.
