RAYMOND NDONG SIMA HUMILIATED BY LESS THAN NOTHING INDIVIDUALS. RAYMOND NDONG SIMA TRAITÉ DE MANIÈRE HUMILIANTE PAR DES MOINS QUE RIEN

Raymond Ndong Sima

English Version

Upon his appointment by Ali Bongo, this blog bluntly expressed its reservations about the career choice that Raymond Ndong Sima had just taken, because we had no illusions about the role of window dressing given to him by Ali Bongo and that when time comes, he would be getting rid of, after being humiliated, as is the tradition of treating Prime Ministers in Gabon. But we never imagined that in less than two years, Raymond Ndong Sima would become a mop for the most incompetent sycophants of this regime.

The sad part about this is that in a country where any dunce dares talk to people with disdain, Raymond Ndong Sima is not just anybody. Everyone knows the academic and professional profile of this gentleman whom no one would treat as incompetent. But in a country where human capital does not matter, where those in power have difficulties assimilating the importance of human capital, which is described as the set of abilities, skills and knowledge available in a society or a countries. It is this human capital which is the guarantor of economic success. Those who use it well succeed collectively, but for those who like the leaders of Gabon, are motivated only by pleasure, the constant search for instant gratification and the race to the ephemeral, the poor results are there for everyone to see.

The news coming from the association between Raymond Ndong Sima and Ali Bongo are far from encouraging for the Gabonese Prime Minister. It is indeed reported by almost irrefutable sources, of a recent stormy dispute that would have taken place in the Ali Bongo’s office. There may be disputes between collaborators from time to time, nothing serious in this regard. What attracts our attention here is that the squabble opposed Raymond Ndong Sima on the defending side and on the other, three of the closest collaborators of Ali Bongo: Liban Souleymane, Pacôme Moubelet-Boubeya and Serge Mickoto. Yes dear readers, you read that right, three collaborators of Ali Bongo, who put together and even if mathematically squared, would not reach the ankle of a Raymond Ndong Sima, took the liberty to give an earful to the Prime Minister for lack of results. What the hell!

But in the name of God, who is Lebanon Souleymane to do such effronteries? Who is Pacôme Moubelet-Boubeya to give lessons about anything to anyone? Who is Serge Mickoto to dare open his mouth where real people are talking? What are their professional or academic records? In Gabon everyone knows everyone, so let’s keep quiet! Liban Souleymane does not even have the qualifications enabling him to carry Raymond Ndong Sima’s briefcase, but in Gabon, all these absurdities are possible.

But not the most outrageous is perhaps not the arrogance of these worthless people who think they own Gabon, but the fact that an individual as accomplished as Raymond Ndong Sima would accept these humiliations repeatedly. It was first Bilié Bi Nze who used strong contemptuous words against Raymond Ndong Sima, and now this mediocre triumvirate which before Ali Bongo, dares to verbally assault his Prime Minister. Some, this blog among them, see these repeated attacks, as a desire by the couple Accrombessi-Bongo to push Raymond Ndong Sima over the edge by humiliating him and making him lose all his stature and personality, so that at the time of his dismissal, he would represent absolutely nothing and could never bounce back politically.

The question remains: facing these humiliations, what is Raymond Ndong Sima strategy? Laughing your all your teeth out is not a strategy!
